Ps HW #2

This video is a quick five-minute beginner introduction to the Photoshop program. What I find difficult in this video is working in layers since it is different from Illustrator. What I find easy in this video is how to use the image adjustments since it is just a button in a panel. What I found interesting in the video is the explanation between what saturation and vibrance is. I see it as something that I would use when wanting to professionally edit an image.

This video is a 13-minute tutorial on the basics in the Photoshop application. What I find easy in this video is brush tools. They seem pretty self-explanatory and mimic real life which I find understandable. This application is more manual so I feel like it might be easier to use as you actively have to bring the brush across the picture if you want to change something. I can potentially use the Photoshop brush tool to actually draw images in the program like it's a sketch book. I never realized that before and I might try it in my free time.

This video is another beginner run down of the program. What I found challenging about this video is blending mode function. Once again, I just feel like it gets confusing with the layers and on which one you apply it to with the layer mask. What I find easy is the clone stamp tool. It is very simple and gets the job done. I would use this tool if I wanted to efficiently fill in the background for an image. For example, instead of cutting and pasting grass I can just make it into a brush and then clone stamp it throughout the background.
